Cheeky Chipmunks
Wildlife comes in all shapes and sizes, but one of my favorite wild creatures is the chipmunk! These little critters are incredibly curious and just plain adorable. I raised a litter of chipmunks in 2022 and released them behind my cabin. The chipmunk you see there is one of the three I raised, and she visits me almost every day!
Stunning Shots
Birds are quite hard to photograph, if only because of how jumpy they are! They move incredibly fast and never stay still for very long. But they are very beautiful creatures that come in some extraordinary colors!
Movement in Moments
After 2 hours of sitting in stillness and silence (such a nice detox from the craze of daily life) and after taking nearly 500 photos, I managed to capture this white-breasted nuthatch in flight!
